I'm not much of a Publisher user myself and the one person on our staff who knows everything about Publisher is having chemo treatments and isn't available to help us. Her temporary replacement is trying to convert a Publisher file to pdf to send to our printers. When she does this she loses the margins. I know there must be a way to do this without losing the margins because we've sent stuff to the printer before without trouble. What can we do to keep the page setup of the Publisher document intact when we convert to pdf? Or is there way to adjust the pdf file once it's converted?

These instructions are for Acrobat 4.0. I'm guessing that they should work for other versions.
Print to the PDFWriter and check the "View File" option. Also check the settings under the printer "Properties" button, you may want to adjust these values. Save the file to your disk and the Acrobat editor will come up. To change the margins in the Acrobat editor, select the Document > Crop Pages menu to adjust. Hope this helps.
