Converting from POTS to T1 = hard?

Finally, a rep from Verizon tells me they can provide us with DCS voice T1 service. We could not get it last year when we moved to our new facilities. I have 48 POTS lines on 3 IP 400 Analog Truck 16 expansion units. To save $600 per month, I'm looking to change to voice T1. I know I'll need to buy the T1/PRI card for our IP412 system. Is the configuration of the T1 very difficult? I've got a pretty good handle on the system as it is, I'm just looking for caveats to making this change.

thanks,

I would say it's very easy, add the modules and program. Now if I remember your system is in the farm fields somewhere and I would really double check the type of circuit they are going to provide. Make sure it's within spec's for the IPO, basically in the book, look for the line form for US Pri or T1.

If you set the T-1 for a PRI with Ni-2 all you do is put the channels in service it comes up automatically.
