Converting excel spreadsheet to mysql 1

I've heard this can be done. Can someone tell me how or send me to a tutorial for it. Thanks in advance.

I would export the data in the cells to a CSV file, then create a MySQL table with columns capable of holding the data, then use MySQL's "LOAD DATA" command (

download EMS MySQL Manager (search for it on google.com) and they have a super handy import feature...it's actually the best gui mysql management tool I have ever seen...
