With a little help I hope to convert my homepages database application into a standalone app that can be installed from a CD.(I Hope)
I wondered if anyone could guide me to some good VB6 tutorials that relate to manipulating Access databases.
I have been reading some I found and have completed a few elementary tutorials but nothing thats getting me the info I need.
The databases main features are quite simple I think,
Search for a record and display a pedigree basically.
Or search for a record and display offspring.
Add a new record
Delete
Update
Add a photo to go with a record.
Also when searching for a record id like the details pulled to be displayed as in a pedigrees format not the data grid, I would appreciate any help on that too.
Im not sure what my starting point should be, but i'll make a start by trying to connect to the database.
