I want to convert a bitmap to vector, please don't talk about trace bitmap in Flash tried it and it is bullshit, when you enlarge it it's has ugly has if it was still a bitmap, there must be another way that convert bitmap to vector with real vector result.

Thanks for your help

Software like Adobe Streamline does a reasonable job of converting bitmaps to vectors, otherwise you're stuck with tracing the shape with the pen tool in Flash (or Illustrator/Freehand etc) and then using the fill tool to add colour. This definitely provides the cleanest results and lowest file sizes but is more time consuming.

I think it's a bit too strong and unreasonbale to say that. Streamline may be somewhat more effective but only to a certain degree. If you're trying to convert something like a photo of a person to a vector, you're asking for something impractical. There's a reason both raster and vector technologies exist--neither one is perfect for all images. It's kinda like putting offroad tires on a ferrari and being mad because it won't go through mud like a hummer.
