Convert Access code to VB

The decision has been made to convert an existing (prototype) Access 97 system - the database to be upgraded to SQL Server and the front-end code to VB.

Does anyone know of any techniques/products which will help with the conversion of the code ?

I got this book called '"MicroSoft ACCESS/Visual Basic" Step by Step'. It's another book from MicroSoft Press, which came out in 1995 by Evan Callahan. I tried to get ACCESS Programming insights out of this but didn't due to personal reasons. I did attempt some of this for I do have a bachelors in Com. Sci. with lots of classes in College in VB. I was able to understand this but I found the ACCESS progamming was hard to comprehend. If you take a class or two in VB, you should have no problem, since you already know ACCESS programming. The two are the same, yet very different.
