Conversant IVR Annoucement

I have write an application an insert a announcement to it.
When i play it on my laptop it sounds fine. But when i import my application to the IVR the promp is not that clear.
My format on the wav.file is 100khz, 8bit, Mono, PCMI8 Bit.

Is there a way that i can record the announcement directly to my app on the IVR, but also export it back to a windows machine or is there a app to convert to wav file to VIS format.

That app is called wav2vis.
Depending on the version of your conversant, it should be located in either /vs/bin/util or perhaps /mtce/bin/wav2vis. If not try to locate it with the find command. There is also a windows version, but I cannot recall where I got that from.
