Hi there,

I installed a program that I now don't want. When I go to Add/Remove Programs, the buttons that say "Change" or "Remove" are greyed out. How can I get rid of this program?

Thanks.

Use Explorer and see if there is not in the \Program Files\program installed directory an uninstall program already there. While there is no concistent naming convention for these, it should be identifiable.

--- this is what I would do ok..You've already done the first part. Secondly do a search on your local C-Drive for the " name of the program that you cannot remove " and whatever you find DELETE that. And finally, go into the Registry and do a search on the name of that Program and Delete whatever you find on it....if you're on Windows2000Pro or XP I think you can get to Registry by going to Start / Run and type Regedit and click Ok.

Doing those steps should resolve your problem.

Good Luck,

HE
