Hi guys

I'm a new user on this forum, I have about 8 years installing pbxs (LG, Ericsson, alcatel & panasonic) hope I 'll be helpful next threads, cause this time I need your help.

I have a LDK100 of 10 analog external lines, and 6 internal digital and 38 analog, working correctly for 3 or 4 years ago.
Suddenly the pbx is doing something very strange.
Sometimes one extension only (114) starts ringing continuously (not ring stop ring stop, like a normale call) and to stop that we have to restart the pbx completly.

What I have also notice is that usually all LDK100 I have installed, when the pbx starts all the analog extensions ring at a time for about 5 sec.
This pbx no extension rings at the start but the 114 rings alone.

Somebody has an idea about this issue?

Thanks you all.

Question: Do you always use the country code as programmed in the back-up? I guees it is the country, where the system is installed.
I guess that you have other systems running with the same country code.

///doktor

It's not the country where it's installed because ours is not listed on LG systems but it is neighbour.

Yes we use always this country code and it works fine on everyone.

If you go into brandy and go through some simple maint what does it tell you try "db pf" for any pre programmed faults, then have a look at the RGU "db rc", then run through time slot conflicts "db ts" and try "db cc" if you get stuck ? will guide you through ,but youre reseller Capstan in the UK should be able to provide you a list of Jannie , Jennie and Brandy commands.

I think this is very complicated to me, I do not know what you're talking about , I just knox that jennie is the password for the program that you go through hyperterminal.
But I don'trealy know the commands you can use.

If you know the way to logon and see this diagnostics, it is not that complicated.
Do like this:
Log on via Remote Diagnostics in the ipLDK Administration module and enter password "jannie".

If logged correctly in, this results in a "maint>" prompt.
Then enter the commands that are described in the comments from "montysummer".
Post the results here.
Log out with "x"
I the next post I will post some DECT printouts, just to show you how it looks.

Log on via Remote Diagnostics in the ipLDK Administration module and enter password "jannie".
This gives the maint prompt: maint>
Write help to see the allowed commands.
+++
Log on via Remote Diagnostics in the ipLDK Administration module and enter password "jennie".
This gives the mon prompt: mon>
This is used for monitoring purposes.
Write help to see the allowed commands.

Alternatively the "brandy" password can be used.

THIS IS SHOWN AS AN EXAMPLE:
If you have DECT in your system you can see some DECT statisics:

1.
In the maint prompt write the command below.

maint> ws 04 upload

and

maint>ws ?

WTIB Statistics Command List:

ws ? - Help
ws ## upload - Upload data
ws ## call - Total number of call & direction of the call
ws ## subs - Information per subscripted device
ws ## eoc - End of call
ws ## cell - Usage of freq and slot
ws ## traf - Show holding time
ws ## acce - Access info.(basic/handover)
ws ## clea - Clear statistics data

Now it is possible to see DECT statistics.

Sorry but you need to log on via hyperterminal or ldk admin suite as discribed above but the password is brandy, jennie and jannie are for licence key and monitoring events to carry out the maint commands i gave you brandy is definatly the passsword you require.

To access the "command line part" of ipLDK, Hyperterminal or TeraTerm is used to make a telnet session (IP address using port 23) to "see what happens behind the graphical interface".

If you use Hypertermial and enter the ip address of your ipLDK system, you can log in with the password brandy or jannie.

Below I log in and send some commands:

If you dont have Lan access you will need a 9 pin serial cable , with pins 2, 3 , 5 connected pin to pin straight through connections.
youre com port needs the following settings.

Baude Rate 19200

Parity bits, none

Data bits 8.

Flow control, off /or xon/xoff depending on what interface you are using.

If you are working on the vmib same cable.

If you are working on a GDK the only thing that changes is the baude rate needs to be .9600

Ok thank you guys
Sorry for the delay but I was absent for a while
Anyway I think that the system is OK, because I did some tests this week end and get the certitude that the probleme is on the cabling ( I still don't know what exactly but it's that for sure).
Because I changed the MPBN board and the system stuill don't ring all the phone on the start.

So what I did is take off all the LDK cables, and then took a brand new one where I connected three phones directly and when I started the system all the 3 rings.
So for sure some cables are doing a the problem, now I have to find which ones!!!!!!!!!!!
I know I should do this test first but I didn't think about until know, sorry.

Thanks to everyone again.
