Please help, I am new to Access / VBA and I have created a database with 2 tables, Customers and Orders and they are linked as a one to many, I have the customers sorted in a Query and then displayed in a continuous form with a button that opens a popup form for me to enter the orders.
The bit that has caused me so much trouble is that on the continuous Customer form I wanted a checkbox that would be checked if there were any Orders for that Customer.
I have done it but it is very messy, does anyone know of a better way.

Hi chevyv8,

How have you done it? I would probably set the ControlSource of the CheckBox to some domain aggregate function, but it's hard to suggest a better way without knowing what you've got to start with.

Enjoy,
Tony

What I ended up with was some VBA that is associated to the Close button of the Orders form so whatever was in the first field would be copied to the last field in the Customer form, then the checkbox just looked at that field.
Very messy.
I though that you may know of some way to could add something to the Customers Query.
