One of my Exchange 2K3 servers is experiencing these event ID's every minute, one after another. It is also causing performance issues. I found one KB article referring to a memory leak in the store.exe but that was for Exchange 2K.

check your anti virus product - ensure it isn't doing file level scanning.

We are just running a SonicWall McAfee agent. That's not doing a file level scan.

Thanks

are you running exchange under the correct username (Exchange full admin)?

To make sure it's not in the way, disable the AV for any further tests. Antivirus apps are known to cause these errors conflicting with MAD monitoring service.

Yes it is completely removed from the server and it is still currently logging these events.

See Q305030 , Q837285 and Q823159 for details on this event.

The article discusses that the server in wuestion has been upgraded from Win 2k to @in 2k3 and it has an older dll file. This is not the case. My server has Win 2k3 out of the box and has the most current version of the dll file in question. Thank for the lead though.

Did you check all 3 KBs?

Check these then.
Error: "0x80004005". See Q310896 or Q318067.

I checked all of the articles that you suggested and it is still not the answer. OWA works fine, no 503 service errors at all. I do get a balloon message from the Outlook Icon in the systray that states "Please wait while Outlook tries to retreive your messages".

Thanks.
