Contexts defined in Universe

How does BO determine which context is appropriate when generating a report? Is there a way to specify a particular context? I'm struggling to figure out how BO determines the context for reports and the help files don't seem too specific so if anyone has some pointers and/or a specific help topic to point me to I'd appreciate it.

It doesn't. If your universe structure is as such that one dataprovider can use multiple contexts, than it will split the query in 2 subsets and merge them back into one cube.
(you will see 2 sub-cubes in the dataprovider.)

If not, it will prompt the user to select from the available contexts and it will run the query-path indicated.

BO will never make a choice the way you are expecting it..
