content advisor password win 98 2nd

Hi, I am trying to set the content advisor settings to protect my daughter from running into any bad sites. but its asking me for a password? I never put one on in the first place? it says: "The supervisor password is required before you can continue." hint "none"

i have serched everywhere for an answer. any help will be great thank you
 
ive done it by removing the motherboard battery

I got this one a lot while i worked tech support for an internet company. Mostly it was teenage boys trying to get the the pr0n!

Close the Control Panel.
Click on Start | Run
Type in: regedit and click OK.
Click on the + to the left of HKEY LOCAL MACHINE
Click on the + to the left of SOFTWARE
Click on the + to the left of MICROSOFT
Click on the + to the left of Windows
Click on the + to the left of Current Version
Click on the + to the left of Policies
Click on the Ratings folder.
In the right hand window, there will be a key labeled &quot;key.&quot; Right-click on this key and select Delete.
Close the Registry Editor and reboot your computer.
Open the Control Panel and double click on the Internet icon
Click the Content tab
Click on Disable ratings. If it asks for a password, leave it blank!!!
