I have a few hundred contacts under my outlook. I need to be able to change the area code (under the phone numbers) in at least half of them, to a different area code. I know I could export thme to a XLS file make the change in there and re import them.

Is there a way I can this change globally or from within the users Outlook?or via Exchange?

Please help.

Thx

In the bussiness field I need to make a change to the area code.

Yeah, but are these contacts stored in the Global Address List or in the Contacts folder in your Outlook profile?

They are stored on our Exchange 2003 server.

Not sure how this can help me out but I'll check. Will it modify just a specific field for me under the contacts?
