Cust has Contact store IPO V8.0 Contact store V7_8SP1_16 Patch 78141

Attempting to play back call recordings through the Web browser causes IE to crash
Various versions of IE have been tested.

Has anyone else seen this, if so are there any solutions

also uninstall the active x applet that installs into IE and allow it to reinstall.

Try running IE with elevated privileges and see if it crashes then

I dont think it can be the history or active X issues our engineer had the same issue on his laptop which has never previously connected to a contact store server.

Looks like there is a newer patch then what you have. Look for the file replace 3.0.0 patch from Avaya's site. It's at patch level 78165 which fixed problems I had with the player not working in IE 8 or higher.

thanks Jhall123
we will give that a try
