Console and Auto Answer 1

I have a softconsole which is in telecommuter mode, with a 4610. Calls come into the console and show up on the pc, then point and click to answer, then pick up the hardphone. Is there a way with auto answer turned on the console to have them double click the button on the softphone turning on the hardphone? The issue is the have to pick up the hardphone and click the softphone line 1 to answer the call.

Change the service link mode on page 2 of the station form to permanent.

What happens the way you have it set up now is, the softphone rings, the switch has to call the hard phone, then you pick up the hard phone, and have to click the softphone right?

If you change the service link mode to permanant, the phone system keeps the link up between it and the hard phone (you can leave your hard phone off hook, and then just click the softphone to answer.
