Hi freinds,

We have 1 novell server & 1 NT server. I can not loging to the NT server from a remote location through LAN. But no problem with novel server.
I have give the doman name at the "Client for Microsoft network" but after the login screen it gives this msg.
"NO DOMAIN SERVER WAS AVAILABLE TO VALIDATE YOUR PASSWORD"
I have checked the username & password also.
At there we have a router and that router address have given as the gateway address on the remote pc.
Still I can't browse my NT server.

Please be good enough to shere your knowladge on the above matter.

Waiting for a solution.

Thanks

Can you Ping your NT Server ??

which version of Netware server are you running ??

Tesh

Yes!! I can ping my NT server from remote PC
NetWare ver. 4.11

and also I can't see any workstations.

Try assigning a static IP address on the remote workstation.

modify your lmhost file, and add one record:

PDC_IP_address> "DOMAINNAME \0x1B" #PRE

The length of "DOMAINNAME \0x1B" has to be 16 Chart.
