I dont' know why i cannot view my database or any database on an sql Server on the network. Enterprise Manager status goes to not responding. I even reinstalled it but to no avail.
Please help!

Have you checked your ODBC connection? That's where I always start when I have connection problems.

Yes ODBC connection have been checked. But the problem is that i can't even get connection to database in some satisfactory time. querries which were processed in few milliseconds now take more than 2 minutes. It's really horrible. And Enterprise almost halts when try to access database. I am yet very ulclear about the problem. what should i do?

I would have a look at your network and at the server. Try running the same query from enterprise manager directly on the server. I would be that there is something running on the server either chewing up disk i/o or cpu cycles.
