When connecting to a newly created SQL database for use as a Crystal repository, i get a error message saying tables not found!.

I have followed the instructions to the letter.

Can anyone help?

Greetings,

I am also receiving the same problem. I have created the dsn as required, and pointed it to the db on SQL server. Each time i try to log onto the repository i receive that message and then 2 tables are created with my user name on the db. If i delete the tables they reappear after next attempt to connect to repository.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

have you imported the existing access repository tables into the new SQL repository database ?

Hi,

I have been round the houses with Crystal with this! I have imported the Access version, created a new version, removed it, replaced it with the SQL import...you name it! After many hours and many phone calls to Crystal Decisions, i have resigned myself to creating an Access database on our SQL server and using that.

If anyone does find a way please let me and i guess Crystal support know!

cheers

Greetings,

I have also spent a great deal of time trying to resolve this problem. I have seen messages at other forums with the same problem and no resolution. I spent the majority of Friday on the phone with Crystal trying to resolve the issue.

I have followed the correct procedures with colleagues and Crystal without any breakthrough. Crystal belive that the problem arises from User rights within SQL. However, my DBA contacted Crystal and went through all the necessary steps, yet alas...

Crystal, as yet, cannot find a solution, and i don't hold any hope for finding one.

To me it seems more than coincidental that numerous other users are experiencing the same issue.

Time will tell.
