I'm having all sorts of trouble getting my XPpro laptop to connect to a Win2000 PPTP VPN. The Win2000pro clients connect with no problem, it only seems to be the XP machines that generate "ERROR 619". I've tried everything for this error - installed a new driver for my NIC, reset the router, made sure the RRAS server was apart of the Active Directory users for RAS and ISA Servers. I know it can't be on the server side b/c we have all other clients working.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks in advance.

This behavior can occur if the RRAS server is joined to a Windows 2000 domain. If the RRAS server is not properly added to the Active Directory, client connections are not possible.

To resolve this issue, register the RRAS server in the Active Directory.

Look if you need more information.
