Ok, here is what i've tried...
Open Visual Foxpro and create a test database. then click on Connections. In the dialog box click New.
You have now 2 choises: to specify a datasource or a connection string. If you hadn't declared the specific datasource for your Oracle connection you can do it now. I used Oracle ODBC driver as Microsoft's ODBC driver for Oracle seems to have some problems with connectivity.
It's your choice to connect to Oracle by specifying a datasource or a connection string. After that click on verify connection and it must work.
You can create a connection later at runtime, but try this first.
