Problem:
Connect Two PBX's.
PBX A is a Definity G3.
PBX B is a Definity G1.
PBX A has Two T1 Pri's to PSTN and are used for all
incoming and outgoing Calls.
The T1 are also used to Time the Switch.
PBX B is at remote location and has a point to point T1 connected to PBX A. PBX B does not have a PSTN Connection but gets call routed to from PBX A.
PBX B is set to clock from PBX A.
Point To Point T1 is an Emulated Circuit on an ATM BackBone
and can be configured to any spec.
Stucture on Unstructured T1.
I have tried to do a Tie Line but have problems with Timing.
The Problems are more noticeable in Faxing and Modem Calls.
Can anyone suggest a recommend a Solution that will
connect the Two switches.
Thanks.

Pablo

P.S. One minor problems with the Tie lines is that caller Id information is not passed to PBX B.

Are the two DS1 forms set up for D4, ami-zms and robbed bit?

If so, then the trunk groups can be set up as type tie (not ISDN) and the Wink/Wink protocol can be used.
The port form page can be set up with the port number, e&m, T1-standard, and 20ms for timing. (for each port)

That should work for a standard T1 setup between switches.

The call info will not pass, however, unless you have DCS networking turned on in each switch, and I am not sure if the G1 is capable nor worthy of that.
