I found this info on connecting to a NAM. Does anyone have the required Driver?

nvm2ppp.inf driver

I can't seem to find it on the NAM CD.

Connecting Laptop to NAM 3.0 & 4.0

·Connect one end of Null Modem DB9 serial cable to com port on laptop, the other end to port B on NAM.
·On laptop add new modem (start>control panel>modems). Click ADD. Select “I will choose modem from list” option. Then click HAVE DISK. Browse to find nvm2ppp.inf driver. This can be found on CD-ROM that comes with NAM. Then highlight com port on pc, usually COM1 or COM2. Click NEXT, then FINISH.
·Add dial up connection (start>accessories>dial up networking). Click on MAKE NEW CONNECTION. Type in name, NAM serial connection. On select device tab, select direct serial connection. Click CONFIGURE. On the Connection tab make “Cancel call if not connected within :” to 0 sec. Click OK, NEXT. Type in 1 in the telephone # field. Click FINISH. Drag icon to desktop.
·Install Norstar Voicemail Manger on laptop.
·Double click on Dial up Connection icon. Username is namaccess. Password is log2nam.
·Start Norstar Voicemail Manager program. Use the f983 password as the password to log in. (1020000 or the like)


Connecting Laptop to NAM 2.x

·Connect one end of Null Modem DB9 serial cable to com port on laptop, the other end to port A on NAM.
·On laptop add new HyperTerminal connection (start > accessories > Communications >HyperTerminal)
·Choose “direct to com” and Settings:9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, none parity.
·Once Hyperterm is connected, press Return.
·The password is: admin. <Return> Y <Return>.
·Then select 1 for Application Administration.
·Then select 2 for Norstar.
·The password is: sysmgr


Connecting Laptop to Startalk CAN (A,B,C) & MINI

·Connect one end of Straight Through DB9 serial cable to laptop, connect DB25 to com port on Startalk CAN.
·On laptop add new HyperTerminal connection (start > accessories > Communications >HyperTerminal)
·Choose “direct to com” and Settings:300 baud, 7 data bits, 1 stop bit , even parity.
·Open connection, and press ENTER.
·The screen should display “password:”, type in SYSMGR.




Connecting Laptop to Startalk Flash

·Connect one end of Straight Through DB9 serial cable to laptop, connect DB25 to com port on Startalk Flash.
·On laptop add new HyperTerminal connection (start > accessories > Communications >HyperTerminal)
·Choose “direct to com” and Settings:1200 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit , no parity.
·Open connection, and press ENTER.
·The screen should display “password:”, type in SYSMGR.




Connecting Laptop to SMDR

·Connect one end of Straight Through DB9 serial cable to laptop, connect DB25 to com port on SMDR.
·On laptop add new HyperTerminal connection (start > accessories > Communications >HyperTerminal)
·Choose “direct to com” and Settings:1200 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit , no parity.
·Under SMDR Admin(F9*2) all calls, incoming, outgoing, or access codes will display in real time after the call is made.



Connecting Laptop to Remote Access Device

·Connect one end of Straight Through DB9 serial cable to laptop, connect the other end to RAD com port.
·Use Norstar Remote Utilities to connect to RAD.

Did you bother to look or just being lazy?
Look in (cd drive):\NVMSW\NVMMGR it's right there!
 
Thanks I found it. Actually I have spent quite a bit of time on getting information on this.
 
I have been making alot of headway on this. I think I am almost there. I was able to use a serial connection to get to the Application mod. The connection shows I am connected using TCP/IP with the serial connection. However, when I try to use Voicemail Manager it is not connecting. Is there a default IP address for the Serial connection on the Mod? The Voicemail manager shows it can't connect even though the Serial connection shows connected.
 
Use hyperterminal to access the serial port.

192.168.110.10 is the NAM's default IP address.
 
I tried the default IP addresses without success. 192.168.110.10 and 11,12,13,14,15-19.
 
It really is inappropriate to ask for passwords in a public forum.
 
FYI: My previous post was in reference to one that has been removed.
