i tried, but all i get is a blank screen. i dont think i need any drivers for my pc to do so. should the pc just recognize the cable, or do i have to do some configuring. i am way lost.
i forgot to mention that my laptop is well suitable for this task. its an amd 1.2 ghz, 256 ram. its also a compaq, unfortunately. hope this helps. any feedback is appreciated. thanks.
Probably need a key combination to get this to work -- on some Dells, for example, it's Fn-key + the 6 or 7 key across the top. Check your laptop's manual, or check the secondary marks on the number keys for ideas of where to start. Usually involves using that extra "function" key though.
