Hi,

I've linked the tables from my SQL Server 7.0 database to an Access database and it all works fine. The problem i'm having is that when another user tries to get into the database it opens up fine until they try to open a table.
Then it tries to use their Windows login ID and password to access the SQL server. It allows them to type the user name and password in manually which starts to pull back the data, but it continues to pop up constantly so they have to keep entering it. Does anyone know how I can get this to stop and just use the public user anme and password that i've already set up in Sql Server?

Thanks.

Haven't you stored the public username and password in the DSN ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

I'm not sure if my DSN file details are corerct.
COuld you have a quick look for me?

THese are all the details stored in it:

[ODBC]
DRIVER=SQL Server
UID=trainingevaluationuser
PWD=trainingevaluationuser
Trusted_Connection=No
Network=DBMSSOCN
APP=Microsoft® Access
SERVER=NTSLDEVSQL
Description=DSN Connection to SQL Server

Does this look right? Bit of a novice to all this!
