I want to be able to connect my laptop to both my work network and my home network (to share and back up files). Thus far the only way I can seem to do this is using "my computer", "properties", "network idendification", "properties".. and change the member/domain information because my work network uses a domain name and my home network uses a work group. There is some additional changes to make to do this. It is a real pain to go through this process every weekend.. there MUST be some way to do thie easier I am simply not technically savy enough to figure it out and now in detail (as in step by step) how to do this. I also understand that WinXP may be a little smarter when it comes to doing this? I have named the computer and have a user name and password for both networks already set up and I can connect to both. It is the procedure (method) of accomplishing this transition back and forth that I am trying to figure out how to "fix" to make it easier! Thank you in advance for you assistance. Si Sancho

You are not going to be able to a part of two different domains. What you can do is when you get home just connect to one of your machines at home like this \\server\share and it will prompt you for the username/password.
