My company uses software, called FDS, that runs off of a Unix Server. The reports that this software generates are not very printer friendly, so we bought an ODBC application, called UniVerse, so we can get the software to communicate to WindowsNT. From there we will be able to convert the reports to an Excel spreadsheet that will make the reports more printer friendly and easier to edit.

IBM has a 400 page manual on UniVerse ODBC on their website that seems rather overwhelming to a novice like myself. I was wondering if anybody could give me any advice to begin or refer me to some resources that may be of assistance.
