Connect to VPN & Internet Same Time?

is it possible for me to connect to a VPN and my internet at the same time? When I connect to the VPN it kicks me off the internet. I don't have a lot of details about our network because I didn't set the VPN up. But, it you let me know the info you need I can probably get it.

There is... But you would have to know how the set is configured. Cisco VPN client and what it connects to; either a Cisco Pix or concentrator allows something clled split-tunneling. This allows you to transfer data throughout your companie LAN and we you try to access something outside of that IP range, then you use your own internet service provider.

On client, uncheck Use remote gateway.
If you use ISA, configure your client to browse via VPN.

where do I uncheck the use remote gateway? what is ISA?

I don't have any hardware or anything here. I'm just using xp vpn to connect.

it's on VPN tcp/ip properties.
Pls ask your net admin if you are allowed to do that, usually we block that split tunneling.
