Does anybody have a write-up on how to connect to a MySql server which can be used by various development systems.

VB, ColdFusion, VFP, Java Script, VB Script.

Is there a FAQ dealing with connecting to mysql.

You'll need the connector (previously aka MyODBC) from mysql...Its the ODBC driver for mysql..

get it here
