Is there a way for me to connect 2 monitors to a older pc. I believe the computer is running windows 3.X with a ISA video card. I would like to be able to see the same thing in both screens when I'm typing.
There is no way i think you can do this with you pc and OS .
You might consider something called
Video switch video duplicator.
This is an external device .
You connect your video uotput from PC to this switch
the box amplifies the viodeo signals and deliver them simultaniously to several monitors.
As an example of what type of product i'm speaking about check out this link
One way might be to use that one video card and run it into a Viewsonic device and then output it from that device to 2 different outputs. I would imagine you lose some quality with something like that. View sonic has some devices with TV tuners in it designed to be hooked up to multiple outputs or possibly multiple inputs. It is really designed to watch TV or DVD from a DVD player on a PC monitor. You may want to check it out. I have not seen a lot of good reviews on devices like this as far as gaming quality goes.
I also wonder if they have a spyware client that can capture keystrokes and output it to another screen.

Sounds to me like a vga y-cable is what you need. E-bay is a possibility if your local computer shop has none. The only problem I would see is current y-cables are 15 pin. I remember older video cards had less pins, but it's been a while since I've seen one.
.. even threw out all my sub-200mhz pentiums last spring...
If you just join the monitors in a Y cable, you get each picture 50% contrast which might be too weak for older monitors.
You get the same pix on both monitors.
With Windows 98 on you can add an extra PCI card and get two different applications on them at the same time.
You can use Win98 for multipole monitors, 1 extra PCI card per slot. You get a different pic on each monitor.
Gforce (and others) have a single AGP card with 2 outputs that you can have either different or the same pic on 2 monitors
