I have raised an FAQ for setting up a SUN Solaris host for hosting Oracle instances. You may find it useful. All comments and suggestions are welcome

You are a star!. It is no wonder you call yourself a guru. We followed your guides for Solaris set up and SGA sizing and it is very relevant. We had a problem with latches/locks and since forceloading semaphores in /etc/system as suggested by you it all looks good.
