Hi,

I recently installed a proxy server in my organisation. Now I want to configure my Exchange 5.5 server, so that the outgoing mails can go thru my proxy server.

Please help in this regard.

PS

On your IMS connector, go to the Connections tab and fill in the IP address for your Proxy server under "Forward all messages to host".

Will also need the WSPCFG.ini files installed in two directories. (Forget which ones). One of them is for port 110 and theother is port 25. I hope this helps as well.

Why do you want them to go through the proxy server?

You'd be better off letting the proxy and the mail server go direct out of the firewall and nothing else - it'll keep things neat.
