Hi. I have a registered domain ( Recently my ISP has configured their DNS to handle the zone files, but I would really like to set up my own DNS (mainly for unlimited Sub-Domains).

Through my registrar, I registered my name servers (ns1.didesigns.net, and ns2.didesigns.net). They BOTH point to my PC's IP address. I know that I need two different IPs, but for now I will use one til I get another DNS server working (at my work office).

Anyway, I got the basic things down. (creating a new zone, reverse lookups, adding hosts). But I really need to know how to configure my DNS to have the NameServers point to my IP Address. Also, how to create a sub-domain, and Mail Exchange.

I am using a DSL line behind a Linksys Router. Although all the ports forward to me, so all ports are open. I was also wondering if on my TCP/IP settings, I had to use my LAN IP or my WAN IP in the "use these DNS settings" option.

Thanx!

oh and my site still works for people outside my network for some reason! but for me it doesnt anymore! i dont even have DNS installed at the moment, hm oh well.
