Hello All,

I have been given a new task of configuring a DID number for a 3903 set.

I have been able to do small moves and changes in the past and don't have the foggiest idea where to start with this one.

I do have other 3903 sets that are configured with DIDs.

Can someone help a newbie with this task.

We have a Nortel Option 11

What is your DID range? If you don't know you can call the phone company. Or you can make a guess by printing a DNB using the first number in your ext's that has a DID Ext.

Then LD 20
REQ PRT
TYPE LUDN
DN X enter the first Digit of your DID's, this will list all the available DN's in that range. They may not be all DID's.

Build a new 3903 using the available DID.

This phone alrady has an extension (DN) of 4547 and the rollover for 4547 is 5547, which I want to keep on the 3903.
The DID that I want to assign to the other available key on this phone. The available DID that I have been given by the phone company is
2123810522

Thanks

Any and all syntax will help...
thanks

What are the other did numbers on working phones'
ie: EXTxxxx

Give me 1 or 2

I'm not sure what your question is. I haven't had a 3903 phone but I have a 3904 phone. It should be just like any other phone besides the pre set keys (if it is like the 3904) Do you have another 3903 you can print and copy?

It's strange for the phone company to give 1 DID number at a time, usually you get a block of 10, 20, 30 or 100 numbers at a time. are you sure your talking DID and not just a plain old COT line that your making a PVT line on a phone. It sure would make life a lot eaiser for us tring to help you if you could CUT and PAST a TNB of phone that has what you call a DID on it so we could see it.

Actually I do have a block, however I only need that DID configured with the phone for right now so I only posted one.

Here is the TNB of a phone that has a DID number 2123810520 configured:

Ok it looks like the phone company is sending only the last 3 digits of the DID number, so all you need to do is add th3 last 3 as a SCR xxx on a KEY.

Do a LD 20
REQ PRT
TYPE LUDN
DN 5

this will list the 5 range and you will be able to see which one's you have left.

Ok 0522 is unused. I would like to configure that one. How do i do that?

thanks for your help so far

Why not just use IDC and have the DID ring on key 0?

Have you checked this phone to make sure it is not forwared to the ATT. It should work programmed the way it is.
