Hi, I have a single domain environment, with default first site and no subnets defined. Last week I installed a remote network with domain controller. It has not become a large problem yet, but I do notice temporary freezes in Outlook (like 30 sec or less). These are random, but I think they are caused by the exchange server trying to query the remote domain controller instead of the nearest, local domain controllers.

Can anyone advise me the correct way to setup the sites and services, or if this is even necessary? I attempted to create a second site for the remote network. But when I created its subnet, everything locally had problems. So I deleted the site and subnet and moved remote domain controller back to defaultfirstsite. I would like for the local network to stay local instead of using the remote domain controller.

Thanks.
