I've read through a few posts on this regarding be able to offer a dial in conference facility on Essential Edition - some posts read it is possible, some don't...

I have 4 x auto attendant's set up, so it works as a 4 pin password - my intention is then for the last auto attendant, to route to a shortcode to access a conference. Is this possible, and if so what short code do I need to create?

It is not possible. MeetMe requires preferred edition. With essential edition you will only be able to use AdHoc conferencing.

System on v9.0.4 using Embedded Voicemail

Shortcode - *77
Feature - Conference Meet Me
Telephone Number - 5001

Then when I dial *77 I am put into Conference 5001 and am able to have a conference call with no issues.

So you would just need to have the final AA transfer to the shortcode you create like mine. In my case I would transfer to *77

HI Pepp I've tried this but I get a message 'invalid option' also a message in system status showing that no preferred edition licence is available.
Are you using a system with just the essential edition licence, and no preferred?

Good point, although the system uses Embedded voicemail it does have a Preferred edition licence on it, so that would explain it as if I remove that licence it fails.

So it works with embedded voicemail but only with the preferred licence :)
