Computer Turning ON Randomly 1

I've heard of computers turning OFF randomly, but mine turns ON without my help if it's plugged in. What could be causing this?

Could be in your BIOS wake on LAN or power management is turning it on

also check your modem settings - incoming calls can cause a modem to switch on the pc - same as wake on LAN

The closest thing I found in the BIOS was something about allowing PCI cards to wake the system. Disabling that option seemed to work!
