a few good computer stores online? I'm mainly looking to buy some memory 512 pc2700 (333) DDR and can anyone tell me what might be the better memory to buy?

Fast shipping and great prices on name brand items.

When buying memory, look for a lower latency of CL2. It's a bit faster, and you'll pay a little extra for it.

If you are looking for reccomendations, I think my Corsair Xtreme is great!

I like to buy crucial RAM. But other people have their favorites like Corsair, OCZ, Samsung, etc. I would recommend checking with the manufacturer to insure compatibility before purchasing RAM. There was a report of some problems with DDR and the speed for P4 vs Athlon XP vs Athlon64.

It seems some RAM worked differently with P4 processors compared to how well it worked with Athlon64 processors. It might be worth reading. It seems a few manufacturers realized this and have been making improvements for better compatibility. Therefore, if you purchase older RAM you could get less performance out of your memory.
