Computer Reimage

MNeed to reimage a computer using the manufacturers disks. need to save the game files for my sons Sims 2. How do I do it? Thanks!

Burn them onto a CD.

Mr. Castner: My grandkids save their Simm City stuff to a CD all the time, I don't know much about the game and I would assume it is copy protected but, the data on the other hand doesn't seem to be. Or, they have figured something out that I don't know about.

Anyway, anything on the drive that is not saved somewhere else will be erased when the new image is installed. If there is a second partition on the drive, move everything onto it.

It stores the game data in the user's profile. You'll want to burn it to CD from there...
