I have a very big problem. my computers keeps rebooting just before the login screen appears. in afe mode everyting is working fine. what could be the problem?

looks like a bluescreen error...
when in safe mode goto the properties of 'my computer' then the advanced tab and open the settings of 'Startup and recovery'. Here you can switch off the automatic reboot.

This way you can see what type of bluescreen you are getting...
(And can we help you a little further...)

this is my blue screen error:

Stop: C0000139 Entry point not found
The procedure entry point RtLinitialize critical section could not be located in the dynamic link library ntdll.dll

right-click My Computer, Properties, Advanced, Startup and Recovery, and uncehck to automaticly restart on errors.

Now when you try to shutdown does it show an error message?

You can also look in the event viewer to see what has been causing this.
