Computer Jams When I End Task AOL

Hi,

Sometimes my AOL program will freeze causing me to "end-task" it. However, when I try to do that, my entire computer jams. Then I have no choice but to power down. Any idea what's going on? Corrupt AOL files? Any way around this than re-installing AOL? Thanks!

If you are running a version of AOL less than 5 or less you need to upgrade. If not you will need to notice what is running when this happens.

I have AOL 7.0, the latest version.
However, I will double-check what else is running.
If I end task any other program besides AOL, it works.

Anyone else got any ideas on this? Also, loading internet pages takes forever.

If your using 'Dial-up' join the party

Hate dial-up as well, but the loading of pages has progressively become slower. Weird.
