My computer has a problem with slowing down. When I boot up, all runs well. However, after it's been running for awhile, it starts to slow down. For example, when I try to get into folders, it will take a loooooooooooong time to open the folder after double clicking on it. Like I said, upon initial boot up, it runs fast, but slows down after the computer's been running for awhile. When it starts doing this, I can reboot and all runs well for awhile. Please advise...thanks.

I would do the usual stuff like scanning for viruses and spyware. And try useing a program like motherboard monitor to see how hot the board and cpu is getting, this can cause problems. I have noticed also that if you use a cordless device and the batteries are low, then the system will work OK for a while then slow down to a crawl (until the batteries are replaced. I've seen a few systems slowed down by spyware, you should run adaware from
Cheers

It sounds like you may be running out of resources. Download Startlog.com into any folder then doubleclick on it and run it. It'll create 2 text files on your desktop. Copy and paste the results of just Startlog (not the stubpaths file) to your reply here. It'll let us see what you have running.
