Ok... I have two servers. One allows access to port 80 from the outside and gives access to a Internal Web Server running software. When you go to this IP address it brings up a login box for the SOFTWARE.......NOT the network.

The names were changed of the Servers by the Software company. The Ip's stayed the same and all settings stayed the same but now we are Getting a Windows Network Authentication Box First. What is the problem?

All help appreciated.

Sorry...... The software you probably won't recognize, its RLWEB. Esys Medical Software. The Server is running IIS of course.

Go into your IIS Manager (or MMC or whatever you want to use) and check the security setting from the top on down. Start at the security settings for the Default Web Site (if you changed name of the default web site to something else, start there). Right click, properties, directoy security tab. Check the Anon. access and Auth. Control settings. Is it using Anon. access? Basic? Intergrated? No tthat these settings would have changed but you never know.
The only thing I can think of that would have caused the issue related to the name change is that the passwords were stored on the workstations and the name change confused the workstations's stored info. That's just a guess though. Security specialist I ain't.
