Im currently running an AMD-K6 450 Mhz computer and recently I just had a virus infect my computer. I formated my c drive and lost everything of course but for some reason now when I try restarting my computer it usually freezes upon entering the desktop screen. Does anyone know if there could be a hardware conflict or something, I have a
TNT2 video card
SoundBlaster Live Sound card
DVD-Rom
Sony CD- Burner
Also I have just one hard drive which is my C drive. However I do have a D drive. Now on my other comouter I have a D drive but it was created using Norton Ghost so if something bad happened to my computer I could quickly recover. On this computers D drive its full of a lot of the information that was previsouly on my computer before I formatted it. Could this perhaps be a problem as well? And if so how do I get rid of it?
Any help would be appriciated
Thanks
