HELP!

We are running an NT 4.0 domain with a PDC, and four BDC's. A setting on one of our Windows 2000 Professional workstations was changed, can't find it, and it would not log into the domain. I have tried to rename the machine, always logging in as administrator. I have tried logging in locally and to the domain, and I always end up with the same error when it tries to join the machine:

Your computer cannot be joind to the domain:
Invalid Signature.

I have renamed them machine. Removed it from the domain at the server level. Told the machine it was part of a workgroup, and then tried to rejoin the domain. I have removed and added the machine (under server manager) all to no avail. I can find no explination of this error on Microsoft's Knowledge Base.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Found the problem. MS Outlook 97 was installed, and when asked if they wanted to overwrite the newer files with older versions, the user click on "yes" which corrupted some system files. Not even going to mess with it. It gets a clean and rebuild.
