Hello,

We currently have internet access through our local cable company. Most of the time it's reliable but when it does go down it's a 24 hour response time (at best). We are going to install a satellite internet system as a backup to keep the email flowing and surfing for the important users. There isn't DSL or any other high speed offerings where we are located.

My question is how can I have two high speed connections with two different static IP ranges (we use NAT for inside our firewall) and have the internet connection automatically switch to the satellite when needed. We currently use a Sonicwall Pro 200 as the FW and router. What magic box will help me?

All you need is some firewall that has two interfaces. The Firebox is one of those products. I personally deploy a lot of FireBox Edge devices to my clients.

Thanks for info! The Firebox products sound like a perfect match. Now I just have to tuck it into the budget.
