Firstly am I right to think Exchange can handle mail from a "catchall" account on a remote POP3 server and then distribute it amongst a workgroup by name?
If so could somebody either point me at a very simple set of instructions on how to do this or tell me where I would need to start looking in terms of incoming and outgoing mail.

Thanks
in advance
Chris

you need a third party program to pull the mail off the pop3 server to exchange. Try POPCON, search this forum for more details.

I believe Exchange 2003 has introduced a built-in POP3 connector, which saves having to use third-party software.

I have Exchange 2000 and use PopCon or GFiMailEssentials to handle old POP3 email. However, if you have the option to go for Exchange 2003, then this would save the hassle of combining multiple software.
