What components do you mean? There are proprietary components that DW will add such as automatic date updating that is accomplished by a bot in FP, or the DW template feature, and so will probably not translate.
I would recommend using one or the other, but not switching back and forth as FP adds all kinds of it's own crap into every document and rewites your code. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

If you've just got str8 HTML code, copy the code from DW and paste it in the Code Tab Page in FP. I've done that (DW cleans up code very well).
But if you've got some fancy stuff you've done in DW, I'd heed the poster above, Vio8lion's advice.... and "pick a lane."
