I need to compare 2 tables each with the same name from 2 separate databases one a copy of the other.
The idea is to copy 1 database every 24hr period then compare the copy to original and log changes.
I want to bend the project to fit my knowledge. I'm loading both with ADO components and was planning on using SQL statements to run comparisons. Is it possible to make direct comparisons using a copy of the same file but renamed?

I think I could try an alternate method and rename & move the table into a single database file but I am curious if it's possible to compare without renaming/moving the table.

The files are Access Databases (*.mdb) so I'm using ADO with SQL.

Thanks
