Does any body have the same problem with this laptop?
After using the computer for a while it frezees and I need to turn it off manually every time.
Does any body know what is causing this??
Any suggestions??

Could be bad memory, heat, bad hard drive, bad power supply, or one of many other things. Give us more details on when it happens and how long you need to wait before turning it back on to get it to work.

Yes!!!![pc3]
I've been having the same problem since about May. I've ruled out the memory and the harddrive. I believe the next thing I need to check is my processors heat sink. Check that the fan is working correctly, and that the thing is not clogged with 'stuff'. The only problem is when I took all the screws out of the bottom, it still would not come apart. Does anyone know how to disassemble a presario laptop. I also understand there may be diagnostic software that will record my CPU temp at freeze time. Anyone know where to find such a program.
After a freeze, if you plug/unplug your AC adapter, does the icon by the clock update? Suggests, to me anyway, the CPU is still working.

Good Luck,
I let ya know if I have any luck.
